About the Wheel Spacers & Adapters

Wheel spacers and bolt-pattern adapters solve two different problems, and mixing them up is a common source of fitment trouble. A spacer keeps your bolt pattern and pushes the wheel outboard — it changes your effective offset by exactly its own thickness, so a 20 mm spacer behind an ET45 wheel makes it behave like ET25. An adapter changes the bolt pattern itself, letting a wheel of one PCD bolt to a hub of another.

Two things decide whether the result is safe as well as correct. First, hub centricity: a hub-centric spacer carries the wheel's weight on the hub the way the factory intended, while a lug-centric setup leaves the studs doing that job. If a spacer's bore is larger than your hub, a hub-centric ring brings it back to size. Second, stud engagement — the thicker the spacer, the less thread is left, which is why thicker spacers are normally paired with extended studs rather than run on factory ones. Re-torque after the first 50 to 100 miles either way.

We stock hub-centric spacers, PCD adapters, hub rings and extended hardware from Project Kics, ISC Suspension, BBS and H&R, in the bore sizes the JDM platforms actually use — 66 mm Nissan, 60 mm Toyota, 67 mm Mazda — with fast US shipping and our price match guarantee.

Not sure what your car runs? Our JDM wheel fitment guide lists factory bolt patterns, offsets and hub bores by chassis, straight from manufacturer service manuals.
