Complete Single Turbo Systems

Turblown builds two complete single turbo conversion systems for the FD3S, both engineered specifically around the 13B-REW and the constraints of the FD3S engine bay:

• Cast EFR IWG Turbo System — a complete bolt-in single turbo conversion using a BorgWarner EFR turbo with internal wastegate. Turblown's cast IWG manifold is a direct-fit solution with no clearance compromises in the FD3S bay. Includes manifold, downpipe, and all required hardware.
• Cast Twinscroll EWG Turbo Kit — the external wastegate version for builds requiring finer boost control and a higher power ceiling. Twinscroll design maximizes turbo efficiency by separating exhaust pulses, improving response and reducing heat soak.

Cast Turbo Manifolds

The Cast V2 IWG EFR Turbo Manifold is available separately for builders sourcing their own turbo. Precision-cast in ductile iron for heat retention and durability, the V2 manifold is designed around the physical constraints of the FD3S engine bay — fitment is exact. The matching Inconel Heat Shield reduces underhood temperatures and protects components from radiated turbo heat.

Intake Manifolds

The Cast Upper and Cast Lower Intake Manifolds replace the factory sequential intake architecture with a single-turbo-optimized design, compatible with the Bosch 82mm DBW throttle body conversion — one of the most common upgrades on serious FD3S single-turbo builds.

Oil System and Supporting Components

The 13B Baffled Oil Filler Neck replaces the factory unit with a baffled high-flow design that reduces oil surge under lateral G-load — critical for track and time attack FD builds. The FD3S Oil Pan provides improved oil control under hard driving where the factory pan becomes a limiting factor.

DBW Conversion Components

The RX-7 to Bosch DBW Adapter enables the Bosch 82mm electronic throttle body conversion on the FD3S — one of the cleanest, most tuneable intake setups for a single-turbo 13B build.
